COVID19 Appeal

Over at AVIVA we’ve been lucky enough to post an appeal for funds to help meet some of the additional costs faced during this pandemic.

Similar to many charities we’ve had the double whammy of increased demand for services against massively reduced revenues. Unfortunately the prospect of running shops in a profitable way or reintroducing fee-paying services against the backdrop of social distancing & shielding is a difficult circle to square.

Despite these challenges we remain immensely proud of our staff and volunteers who have gone above and beyond to ensure older people have food, social interactions and are able to stay safe at home!
