New Year New Jobs!

With Christmas well and truly over it’s very much in with the new here at Age Concern Luton and we are looking for great people to join us!

We need a computer savvy, people person who really cares to join our Getting On team! We want a Community Engagement Worker to work with our volunteers and service users to ensure deliver services that bring about real positive change and evidence the difference made to older people’s lives! This post is possible thanks to the generosity and vision of the Big Lottery Fund.

We are also looking for a permanent handyman. Own car is essential and candidates will also need to be able to use a drill and hand tools (supplied by us) and be physically able to help colleagues move beds and other items that assist older people.

Last, but by no means least, we need more Home Support Workers to provide domestic support to Luton’s older people. This role suits caring people who enjoy providing help one-to-one and making gradual but real positive changes to the lives of the older people they see regularly!
